ATV Depreciation Calculator

Project what an ATV might be worth after several years by applying an annual depreciation rate to the purchase price.

Values update after you calculate. Empty or invalid inputs will not invent a number.

Enter the values and choose Calculate to see estimates.

How it works

Each year the remaining value is multiplied by one minus the annual rate. The lost value is purchase price minus that result.

Estimated value = purchase price × (1 − rate)^years.

These results are estimates for planning only. They are not OEM specifications, safety certifications, or professional mechanical, legal, or financial advice.

Depreciation Calculator FAQs

What depreciation rate should I use?

Used ATV values vary by hours, rust, and demand. 10–20% per year is a common planning band, not a market appraisal.

Does this match tax depreciation?

No. Tax schedules use different methods. This is a simple declining-value estimate.

Can a rare model go up in value?

Yes. Enter a 0% rate if you want to ignore depreciation, or use a private appraisal instead.
